Lucky Charm was founded in 2018 by me, Maria Claudia (Cacá). I'm an advertising professional who worked for many years in account management at agencies and in marketing for companies. I've always loved art, I had a lot of contact with painting, I took classes, painted canvases with acrylic paint, made boards out of Duratex with putty, I invented, I created. But I had to work a lot and so that side of me was put on hold.

I'm a mother of two beautiful girls, who introduced me to the world of Disney princesses (by the way, I've always loved princesses, but in my time, the 80s, there weren't many; I loved Cinderella). I left my agency job to focus on raising my eldest daughter, and that sparked a desire to do something, to create, to return to what I've always loved and what was in my essence. Since I've always had a very busy routine, being a full-time mother wasn't fulfilling all my desires, and the restlessness persisted. As a way to combine my love of art and keep up with my daughter's growth (who at that time was just one, now there are two), I started making accessories for children: bows, beautiful headbands. This evolved into accessories for women, but I still found everything very common and lacking in unique features, with a lot of competition and supply; everything comes from China and is very cheap. What could I do that would be so different? That's how I got the idea to create seasonal accessories, where I can use my creativity, mix colors, invent shapes, use paint, flowers, spray paint, feathers, stones, and anything else my imagination desires.

I love Carnival for its explosion of colors; it's a freedom for those who love to create, because the sky's the limit! I also make accessories for Festa Junina (São João, as they call it in other states), Halloween, and I've even made accessories for flower girls and first communions. I love the combination that flowers provide. In short, nowadays I love taking orders, receiving a client's brief, and making an accessory tailored to their needs, whether it's for a special party, a ball, a costume party, whatever... I want to help you! I love a challenge; it further sharpens my creativity!
